Mangrove Mama's
Nestled in Sugarloaf Key, Mangrove Mama’s is more than just a restaurant — it’s a true piece of Florida Keys history. The charming historic buildings were constructed between 1905–1912 as a rail stop and residence for station agents on Flagler’s Overseas Railroad. These structures have survived countless storms (including the devastating 1935 Labor Day Hurricane) and stood the test of time for over a century.
Today, this little gem by the highway continues to be a welcoming oasis for locals and travelers alike — and we’re proud to help keep that authentic Keys tradition alive for the next 100 years!
